Who is Lamoi? That's an easy answer; Lamoi is a plethora of dopeness.

When I became a mother at the age of 29 to the amazing, rambunctious little girl you will come to know as "babygirl", I found myself in an unfamiliar place, and craved a self (r)evolution. As I learned, grew, and found myself imparting wisdom to others, I decided (with some prodding) to go back to where I have always found love and light. Blogging.

I have been blogging since 2009, with the development of more blogs than I'd like to count. Blogging has always helped me navigate my paths, articulate my voice, flaunt my personalities, and make new, long lasting friendships.

This space feels good, it feels right, and it feels blessed.

Inhabiting life as a queer Black woman, I am a poet, spoken word artist, arts educator, professional writer, speaker, conversation sparker, and creative.

I am passionate about this ugly system of racism, gender equality and equity, religion and faith topics, sex and sexuality, relationship topics, self love, self (r)evolution, and parenting.

See, I told you; a plethora of dopeness.
